Solarmonkey (with Solarnut)

Designed for the roamer who wants his iPod to have power - no matter how long he’s on the road - the compact little Solarmonkey (with Solarnut) comes ready to power up anywhere, right from the sun!

The Solarmonkey (with Solarnut) can be connected directly to your phone, iPod, PDA, PSP and many more devices, enabling you to recharge without the need for batteries or a wall outlet. The kit includes a Velcro strap so you can safely attach your Solarmonkey to a backpack or beach bag while giving it some sun.

The versatile little Solarmonkey will also power up under incandescent light such as a regular table lamp.

Specially matched to the Solarmonkey, the Solarnut (included) stores any surplus solar energy. This means that if a sunny day turns cloudy (whilst you are using your Solarmonkey), the Solarnut will provide up to 15 minutes of talk time. 

To make the most of the Solarnut's storage capacity, recharge it (via Solarmonkey) at least once every 2-3 months.

Please note: To protect certain devices, the mini USB tip is designed to put out NO power until adequate power is available from the sun.  Each of the Solarmonkey tips will work with several different models of mobile phone - for compatibility check out the tip/adaptors section of this website.  To reduce the charge time when using the Solarmonkey, make sure the device you wish to charge is turned OFF!
